Day 1: Arrival Bergen
Arrival in the airport of Bergen. Take the airport shuttle bus to the city centre (not included)

Day 2: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to enjoy the charming city. Bergen is unique, not least because of its fantastic location and world-famous surroundings. 7 magnificent mountains and beautiful fjords form the backdrop to an international but at the same time distinctively local atmosphere that makes an indelible impression on everyone who visits the city. Take a tour around the fish market and Bryggen Hanseatic wharf. Bryggen (wharf in Norwegian) consists of 14th century hanseatic buildings. More than 60 buildings of the original wharf are still standing and today this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the top sights in Norway.

 Day 3: Bergen – Norway in a Nutshell – Bergen
Breakfast in the hotel. Walk to the train station Start of the famous « Norway in a Nutshell » excursion.
At 08.44: Take the train from Bergen to Myrdal.
Arrival 10.51. At the mountain station of Myrdal, 865 meters above sea level, change train.
At 10.58: Continue on the famous Flåmsbana to Flåm.
On the 20 kilometer train ride you will experience some of the most dramatic and magnificent Norwegian nature. Here you can see rivers that cut through deep ravines, waterfalls that plunge from the steep cliffs of the snow-capped mountain slopes as well as mountain farms clinging on the steep slopes.

At 15.10: Take a fjord cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen.
The tour will start in the Aurlandfjord and continue into the Nærøyfjord, one of the world ́s most breathtaking and beautiful fjords which is also on the UNESCO list. Both of the fjords are branches of the mighty Sognefjord.
Arrival Gudvangen at 17.30
At 17.45 : Take the public bus from Gudvangen to Voss. Arrival 19.00
At 19.41: Take the train from Voss to Bergen. Arrival at 21.08
Walk to the hotel.

Day 4: Bergen – Nordfjordeid
Breakfast at the hotel. Walk to the busstation.
At 08.00: Take the public bus from Bergen to Nordfjordeid. Arrival at 14.05. Walk to the hotel. Spend the afternoon in the beautidul nature around Nordfjordeid. There are lots of activity options.

 Day 5: Nordfjordeid – Ålesund
Breakfast at the hotel. Walk to the busstation.
At 10.35: Take the public bus from Nordfjordeid to Ålesund. Arrival at 13.45. Enjoy the afternoon in Ålesund. Distinguished by its numerous spires, towers and highly detailed ornamentation, Ålesund is a town renowned across the world for its beautiful Art Nouveau architecture. It owes this to the devastating fire which burned a large proportion of the city to the ground in 1904, following which the town was rebuilt in the fashionable style of the time, Art Nouveau.

 Day 6: Excursion to Geiranger
Breakfast at the hotel. Roundtrip excursion Ålesund – Geiranger Fjord (Mon- Fri – 9.00-19.00) Experience one of the world ́s most beautiful fjords and enjoy the Sunnmøre alps at close. Transport by public bus from Ålesund via Sykkylven across the mountains to Stranda, beautifully situated by the Storfjorden. The trip goes further on to the tourist village Hellesylt where the fjord cruise to Geiranger starts. In the afternoon bus back to Ålesund with ferry via Eidsdal Linge.

 Day 7: Ålesund – Oslo

Breakfast at the hotel.
At 07.05: Departure by public bus from Ålesund to Åndalsnes. Arrival at 09.15
At 09.33: Change to the Rauma Railway which runs between Dombås (659 metres above sea level) and Åndalsnes (4 metres above sea level). On this tour you will see views ranging from precipitous crags plunging vertically to the valley floor among majestic, jagged alpine peaks to lush, curving hillsides climbing towards great rounded mountain plateaus that extend into unspoiled national parks.The beautiful emerald- green River Rauma will follow you, right outside the train window, for much of your trip. The train will run especiallly slowly through the most spectacular scenery. Arrival Dombås at 10.56
At 11.01: Change trains and continue to Oslo. Arrival at 15.03 Walk to your hotel.

 Day 8: Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free to enjoy the Norwegian capital. Oslo is the oldest of the Scandinavian capitals, and its history goes back to 1000 years ago, when the first settlements were built at the inlet of the Oslo fjord. The capital of Norway is known as the Viking city, the culture city, the winter capital, the city of rolling green hills and spectacular fjords. Oslo is full of historic sites, museums, parks, shops and a variety of restaurants. It is famous for its outdoor activities like ice skating, kayaking, cycling, hiking, sailing and skiing. The city is geographically situated at the top of Oslo Fjord enclosed by forests and mountains and this location is exceptional for a capital city. There are about 40 islands in and around the city limits.
