Day 1: OUT / LIMA
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: LIMA
Breakfast. You will have a guided tour that includes visits to the main Colonial attractions such as the Main Square with the Cathedral, San Francisco Convent and many elegant buildings with their traditional wooden balconies, which have being restored. Afterwards you will visit Lima’s residential areas: San Isidro with its Olive Grove, Country Club and Golf course and Miraflores with its Central Park, City Hall and Main shopping streets such as Larco Avenue. We will also visit the Peruvian Gold Museum, this excellent collection includes pre-Columbian gold, silver and bronze, ceramics, weavings, mummies, etc. Upstairs is a remarkable arms collections with an impressive exhibition from Spanish colonial times.  Lunch at a local Restaurant with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. In the evening – enjoy a visit to the Magic Water Circuit Park of Lima, a wonderful collection of 13 ornamental, cybernetic and interactive fountains where water, music, light, images and laser effects that combine in perfect union and harmony to present us with incredible and unique shows full of magic, excitement and fantasy. It boasts world recognition and distinction have been name the “world´s largest fountain complex in a public park” by the Guinness Book of World Records. Return to the hotel.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Fly to Iquitos. Arrival into Iquitos and meeting with the Cruise staff. Aqua Expedition’s 3 night Amazon River luxury cruise on the Aria Amazon begins in the remote colonial city of Iquitos, Peru and transports guests in exceptional comfort deep into the Amazon rainforest, along the Ucayali River, the Amazon’s largest tributary, as well as other neighboring rivers (the Yarapa and Dorado), each one rich in vibrant wildlife and thriving rainforests. Go fishing for the many species of Amazon fish, explore into the dense jungle on foot in search of three-toed sloths, toucans, macaws then come back to the comfort of our skiffs to meet taricaya turtles in their natural habitat and hunt for endangered pink dolphins, unique to the Amazon, at play. As the Aria Amazon journeys towards the union of the Ucayali and the Marañon Rivers, considered the birthplace of the Amazon, learn from our experienced, English speaking naturalist guides about the diverse Amazon wildlife and birds of the Pacaya- Samiria National Reserve.

Activities on board. At the proper time, transfer to the airport. Fly to Lima. Reception and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco, meet at the airport and transfer to the Sacred Valley. The picturesque landscape of the Urubamba Valley to the town of Pisac, where you will enjoy some time at the colorful market of Pisac, with time to visit the stands filled with local handicrafts. As you explore you will have opportunities to meet the local people selling their merchandise, as their families have done for many centuries. Leaving Pisac you will continue to the town of Ollantaytambo where you will climb to the ruins of an Inca fortress resting on a hilltop. Lunch is included today, enjoyed at a local restaurant. Transfer to Ollanta train station and departure to Aguas Calientes. A one and a half hour train journey through the Sacred Valley. The single line track hugs the right side of the canyon next to the boulder-strewn, roaring Urubamba River. Arrive at the small town of Aguas Calientes. Check inn at your hotel. Dinner is included. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Breakfast. Early in the morning departure to Machu Picchu. A 30-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu, an Inca city with a maze of fine stone temples, houses and fountains, spectacularly situated on a ridge between two peaks. Hidden by dense vegetation when Hiram Bingham discovered it in 1911. We include a guided tour. For those more intrepids, we suggest to climb Wayna Picchu Mountain. (Guide is not included / the climb to Huayna Picchu is restricted to only 400 people per day in two groups of 200) In the afternoon, departure to Cusco on Vistadome train. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 9: CUSCO
Breakfast. Free morning. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Cusco, the former capital city of the four regions that formed the Inca Empire. The tour includes highlights of the Colonial city such as the Cathedral, the Q’oricancha – an amazing example of the fusion of Incan and Western cultures that was one of the most important temples in the Empire of Incas – the Plaza de Armas and visit to the Inca ruins of Tambomachay, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and Sacsayhuaman’s gigantic zigzag-walled fortress. Overnight in Cusco.

Breakfast. At the proper time, transfer to the airport to board your flight back to Lima. Arrival in Lima, meet at the airport and departure to Paracas. We will travel south along the Pan- American Highway for four hours land journey. Transfer to the local airport for your flight over the famous and mysterious Nazca Lines and Geogliphs. It is only possible to admire these enigmatic pre-Inca figures from the air. The purpose for which these animal, humanoid and geometric drawings, made is still unknown. Transfer until arrival to your hotel located on Paracas Bay. Overnight in Paracas

Breakfast. At 08:00 – Depart for the 2-hour boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands. The islands are located 20 km. from the coast and are part of the Paracas National Reserve. On the way to the islands, we will observe the “Candelabra”, an enormous drawing in one of the biggest dunes of the reserve that, were probably made by the ancient Incas. Once at the Ballestas Islands we will see fauna in their natural habitat, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins and various bird species. Private transport straight to the airport in Lima for your onward flight (land journey takes 5 hours approximately). END OF OUR SERVICES.
